This 5 Days Uganda primate safari is the ultimate experience that takes you to chimpanzee tracking in Kibale forest National park and Bwindi impenetrable forest national park. This fun filled experience allows you to trek the Chimps 2 times in the chimpanzee capital of East Africa Kibale national park, a game drive in Ishasha south of queen Elizabeth park is a bonus on your way to Bwindi forest.
Our guide will pick you from your hotel or airport and drive to Kibale forest national park through the tea plantations of Mubende and Kyenjojo as you proceed to the forest for an afternoon chimpanzee tracking later check in at Primate lodge for your overnight stay.
After morning breakfast, walk down to the briefing point for the orientation before the chimpanzee tracking, apart from chimpanzees there other primates like baboons, black and white colobus monkeys, grey checked mangabey, and many more. Other animals like buffalos, elephants and others.
After have lunch and go for a guided nature walk in Bigodi swamp.
Have breakfast in the morning and set off for Bwindi forest the home of gorillas driving through Ishasha sector in Queen Elizabeth National Park famous for tree climbing lions. Continue to Bwindi with lunch en-route arriving in the afternoon. Overnight at Bakiga lodge.
Have early morning breakfast, head to the park office by 7.30am with packed lunch for a vital briefing prior in the thick impenetrable forests. You get to spend an hour with the gorillas and come back to the starting point
If you still feel strong just head for a brief nature walk to the local Batwa community. Check out the curio shops, children’s school among others.
